Ladies and Gents, welcome to the next chapter of my Bonded by Blog photo compilation as we celebrate 1 whole month of Shot n’ Roll Anniversary. Welcome to the Chapter 6, Two-Colored Visions: The Art of Black and White.

“Not all colorless is lifeless.”

Brief description:
Monochrome describes your subject in one color or shades of one color. Monochrome images in neutral colors are called gray-scale or black-and-white.

Black and White color combos are something that we rarely see around. Some people didn’t appreciate the art and beauty of it coz of it’s dull and pale illustration, but as for Shot n’ Roll, the simplicity brought by monochrome is beautifully undeniable.

The name of this church was Archdiocesan Shrine of Jesus, The Way, The Truth & The Life. It is located at the back of Mall of Asia, near SMX Convention.

Paint it Black. The best rock track for this mono roll gallery. Originally created by the Rock n’ Roll famers Rolling Stone, this track also sung and performed by a lot of ass-kickin’ bands like  W.A.S.P and Earth Crisis. A classic rock, hard-rock and a hardcore version. Choose all of it, raise your horns and bang your head! \m/

Now to give you folks a little recap ’bout this, I heART Makati is one big photography event held at the gardens of Ayala Triangle. Consisting of different types of photo contest, this event also have photography workshops discussed by the top leading professional photographers of our country like Mr. John Chua. (Not to mention the food and drinks for free \m/)

What’s cool ’bout this event is that, they bring out some interesting subjects to shoot from, aside from the beautiful tall buildings and structures of Ayala. Portraits, landscapes, architectures, animals? Name your expertise coz they’ve got all of the subjects that you needed.

Our actual shooting took place on the ledge of our 12th floor, outside the pantry on where we work for. Wanna try something different from your office? Here’s my advice man… Get your cam, set your tripod and place yourself outside your building. (just like what we’ve done here hehehe!) I assure you, you’ll have the thrill of shooting and a wonderful photograph all in one. If you have a fear of heights, well this is the right spot for you to test yourself and overcome it!

Q: What else can we shoot other than this beautiful scene?
A: Portraits.
