Ladies and Gents, welcome to another session as were down to the last two chapters of my Bonded by Blog photo compilation, in celebration of Shot n’ Roll Anniversary. Welcome to Chapter 2: Random Faces.

This chapter aims to capture a huge range if different people and faces in camera, creating an interesting and diverse collection of ‘random face’ photos. These might range from the sort of studio portraits which you might normally encounter when you visit FoxyBingo or other gaming sites, to more opportunistic shots, which are are more natural. This demonstrates a wide range of photography techniques, and the effects which they can have on a final image.

Here’s an outline on what’s inside this chapter.

Before we proceed, let me show you the Wiki definition of what Portrait Photography is all about…

Portrait Photography is a kind of photograph where a person’s face is the focus, although the entire body and the background may be included. A portrait is generally not a snapshot, but a composed image of a person in a still position. A portrait often shows a person looking directly at the camera.

So without further ado, let’s roll this chapter to the 1st one, Studio Portraits!

Candid Photography

Now in the contrary to Portraiture, which is defined as your subject is looking directly to the camera, here’s where Candid Photography comes in…

Candid, or most commonly known as Stolen Shot, is best described as unposed and unplanned. These are wonderful photographs that shows moment and emotions of ones subject.

Paparazzi is an Italian term used to refer to photojournalists who specialize in Candid Photography of celebrities, politicians, and other prominent people.

On Stage photography, is a combination of 2 genres (Candid and Low-Light Photography) which brings a lot of  challenge to produce a rockin’ beautiful output. Taking on-stage shots is not easy as you see. Not only you wait for the right moment, but also, you watch out for the settings to achieve the right exposure. \m/
