What: The Pahiyas Festival 2010
Where: Lucban Quezon, Philippines
When: May 15, 2010
Part 3 of 3
Artistic Decors, Portraits, and uniquely designed Colorful Houses. This were just three of the subjects to shoot from when taking a photowalk in this festival.
Since were done showing the Colors and Smile of Lucban,it’s time to show off the Houses of Lucban…
Ladies and Gents, welcome to the 3rd and last part of my Pahiyas Photowalk as I take you to the Home of Pahiyas and the Land of Colors! Welcome to my Kalye ng Sari-Sari Gallery!
Taking a photowalk with this kind of heat is definitely exhausting and skin burning. No Pain, No Gain! Think of it positively man, it’s much better shooting with this kind of heat than raining.
The streets of Lucban… Colors, decors, foods, people and cameras everywhere.
Pause for a minute, look up, then there’s one! Hats and Kiping. 2 of the things that symbolizes Pahiyas Festival.
The houses that I’ve took here were one of those houses with Decoracion Grande. Colorfully attractive!
The house of fruits, veggies and kipings.
The house of ropes! “lubid gawa sa bunot ng niyog”. Ropes made from coconut shell says here. Creatively unique!
Nice colors man!
Here’s one of my favorites here. Simple, unique and oldskool! Now that is cool!
Pahiyas graffiti on banig. The graffiti you would only see here in Pahiyas Fest!
The other side of scarecrow… The one that attracts people and lenses.
The holy three…
The streets of Lucban… Turn right and you’ll see the unique decors. Food decors also for sale.
Longganisang Lucban – sold for only 75 bucks a dozen. Served with vinegar and garlic rice, this is a food to die for!
Palusot – The towns local version of Pilipit.
Pahiyas on Verts! These were some of the houses and decors taken vertically for simplicity. Check this out! \m/

A half-decorated wall rocks!
Forget Louis Vuitton bags ladies… Save your money and invest on durability. Uniquely designed Bayong only here at Noknok’s house. Rocks!
Kiping, kping and more kiping!
Kiping – a decor that melts in your mouth, not in your hand.
Colorfully designed Kiping. The only house with gigantic and house-sized decors. This one brings home the bacon. Definitely a winner!

Pagbabalik ng Kwago \m/ Any form of decor is counted. No exemptions, count the owls in! \m/
Lots of fan ei? This will blow the heat off on your head!
Now this is what I call decoration! Just posting my lefties on my Art and Creative Decoration Gallery. Check this out! \m/
