Our next stop: Baclayon Church and Museum of Bohol
After an hour of sightseeing and shooting at the historical Blood Compact Site, Trigger Happy along with the homies go straight directly to their 2nd stop, the Baclayon Church and Museum. This Diocese of Tagbilaran was just a few meters away from our first stop, and it’s very accessible coz it’s also along the highway just like the Blood Compact Site.
This church is considered as one of the oldest here in the Philippines. It is also declared as a National Historical Landmark in 1994 by the Government of the Philippines.
I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I’ve waited as my times elapsed
Now all I do is live with so much fate
Behind these walls lies a sacrifice and passion of how this old church was built. The construction began in 1717 and completed over a decade by the 200 forced laborers who use to dragged coral blocks from the sea using only their bare hands and bamboos for lifting and moving stones. These walls was said to be made out of millions of white eggs coz it used as a cement for construction. This abstract shot was my rendition of Duality by a Heavy Metal band Slipknot.
Take a look to the sky just before you die
It is the last time you will
Blackened roar, massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry
For whom the bell tolls! Time marches on… For whom the bell tolls! I’ve titled this one For whom the Bell Tolls by Thrash Metal band Metallica!
Hard to say what caught my attention
Fixed and crazy, Aphid attraction
Carve my name in my face, to recognize
Such a pheromone cult to terrorize
I won’t let this build up inside of me. I won’t let this build up inside of me. I won’t let this build up inside of me… I’ve titled this one Vermillion by Heavy Metal band Slipknot.
I can’t remember anything
can’t tell if this is true or dream
deep down inside I feel to scream
this terrible silence stops me
Hold my breath as I wish for death… Oh please God, wake me! This is my rendition of One by Thrash Metal band Metallica.
Thanks for dropping by to what I call Metal Alliance Gallery. This is my rendition of some head-bangin’ tunes created by the Metal Rulers Metallica and Slipknot. By the way, if you like this post, you can drop some comments and rate it. Just click those stars and give your thumbs up! Thanks \m/
